Project Overview
We have developed a promotional video withmy team for Serum Centella by Skin1004, designed to highlight the product's benefits, key ingredients, and optimal usage. The goal was to create a compelling visual narrative that effectively communicates the serum’s advantages and appeals to the target audience.
Research
The project began with thorough research into the Serum Centella product and its unique selling points.
Then we crafted a storyboard to outline the video’s structure, ensuring a logical flow that emphasized the most important features.
Target Audience
Beauty lovers between 18-34 years old who are attentive to the appearance of their skin and seek a benefitial serum for their daily routine skincare.
Creative process
Next, we created the video with a professional camera DSLR for assuring high-quality video, maintaining consistency with the brand's aesthetic. These videos were then edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, where we applied transitions, effects, and text overlays to enhance the video’s appeal. The video was synchronized with a carefully selected soundtrack to create an engaging and informative promotional video.
Storyboard
For the video production. We created a video of 30 seconds length of Madagascar Centella serum by Skin 1004 featuring the beauty packaging, brand spirit & product texture, through engaging shots that educate the audience about the benefits of its ingredients for the skin and be part of their lifestyle. Through our video, viewers can see more detail of the liquid texture and feel more of the calm, relaxed, and natural nature vibe, relaxed, and natural nature vibe through our selected sound and selected product scene.
Concept and Colour Palette
Beige Natural: "The untouched nature" with the earth vibe from Madagascar.
Using beige as the main color tone to evoke the feeling of "nature" from the product's Madagascar earth color, combined with silk bands to show the "gentle" from the product's keyword.
Purpose: highlight the warm & natural feeling of the authentic nature vibe from the product.
Final Touches
In the post-production phase, Adobe After Effects was used to enhance the intro of the video, using some masking effects techniques to seamlessly integrate the brand's elements and emphasize important aspects of the serum. The final video was polished with effects and transitions, resulting in a compelling promotional piece.
