Project Overview
Create a promotional video of an existing brand, as a future video producer or filmmaker, I chose Monte Bianco which is an Italian restaurant based in Toronto. With the video, the idea is to create Brand awareness and attract new clients to the restaurant.
Deliverables
The specific products that I chose were 2 delirables, firstly a 20 to 30-second vertically-formatted video ad for Instagram Stories. Secondly, a 45 to 55-second video for sharing on their website, YouTube or Facebook profile.
Creative process
I started to research into the Italian cuisine and its culture, after this I had I clear view of where I wanted to go, so, I created the script for the videos and recorded the footage simultaneously. With some images in mind and with the help of Photoshop, I download some images and then create a storyboard.
Production
Finally, I went to proceeded to film the footage using professional-grade equipment. This likely included capturing shots of the restaurant’s interior, chefs preparing dishes and close-ups of the delicious food and cocktails.
Post-production
In Adobe Creative Suite, I imported the raw footage into Premiere Pro for editing. I meticulously pieced together the best shots, added transitions, and incorporated text overlays and the logo of Monte Bianco to enhance the visual appeal.
Sound Design & Final Touches
After exploring libraries, I carefully selected background music that matched the video’s tone of the company, to enhance the atmosphere.Once the video was complete, I exported it in the required formats for Instagram Stories (vertical) and other platforms like YouTube or Facebook (horizontal).
